Vintage Christmas Tree Decorations

Antique Christmas ornaments at Christmas4ever.com

Last years interest to Russian Christmas ornaments is continuously increasing and a lot of collectors have them in collections. But still Russian Christmas tree ornaments are not known enough to collectors.
Our mission is to provide our customers with all kind of Russian Christmas collectibles, starting from ancient decorations of XIX century and finishing by soviet vintage Christmas ornaments of 1940-1960.
As Germany was the main trading partner of Russia and Soviet Union till WWII we have some antique German ornaments as well.

Following our mission, we are offering not only antique Christmas ornaments but also Santa figures, flags for Christmas trees, candy containers, Christmas tree lights, toys and dolls. In our shop you will find rare and beautiful Russian and German Christmas ornaments made of glass, cotton and Dresden cardboard ornaments.
All of our ornaments are hand made or hand blown, and all of them were hand painted.

Dealing with Vintage Christmas ornaments we try not only to sell them, but to gather all pieces of histories regarding them.
About 90% of Christmas tree ornaments before revolution of 1917 were importing to Russia from other countries, mainly from Germany. Only 10% of assortment was produced by local masters. The decorations were approximately the same as in the Western Europe: there were hand made ornaments made of glass and cotton, of pressed cardboard and paper mashe, candy containers of different kinds, gilded nuts and cones, etc. In the soviet time appeared a lot of unusual propaganda Christmas ornaments, but still a lot of them continuing traditions of pre-revolutionary period.
We prepared illustrated materials about history of Russian antique Christmas ornaments, about the Russian cotton ornaments and translated a manual "How to arrange a celebration of the New Year" issued at 1936.

We love to seek vintage Christmas tree ornaments and to offer them to our customers. Old Christmas collectibles keep memory of the past and give the feeling of time.
We buy and sell only those Christmas collectibles, toys and dolls that we would like to see on our own Christmas tree and we want our buyers to be happy with their purchases and come back for more! We believe antique and vintage Christmas ornaments can not be compared with modern day items and that you will get real value for money.

All of our vintage Christmas tree decorations are 100% original and not a reproductions!

Ain't Got No Troubles

There's no trouble in my hair
Got a tree and the boat, the boat and the sea, yeah

I gotta hook and a line and fish
Go around, go around

Gotta hook and a line
Fish to go around, but I ain't got no troubles

I'll be about in my boat
Hope I catch a big fish, big fish

Meals of yesteryear I'd like to forget
Hey, the wind swishes its tune sometime, whoa

I will not cry when my sea runs dry,
it's been fertile in the years, so many years

Got pots and pans for my lampshades and spices and so my cupboards

Got spices and salt, but I ain't got no trouble
Ain't got no troubles

Review

The recording sounds as if it were bootlegged in an obscure juke joint back in the 1920s... although her vocals, honed in clubs where she had to sing over the piano without much amplification, sound irresistibly fresh. --National Public Radio

As the crow flies, Greenville, MS and New Orleans are just 300 miles apart. But when pianist Eden Brent traveled from her hometown to record 'Ain't Got No Troubles,' she eschewed the interstate for meandering country highways that parallel the Mississippi River's route. The circuitous road trip ended at New Orleans' Piety Street, where she recorded with producer Colin Linden in a quest to further broaden her sound: working with bassist George Porter, Jr., she and Linden injected her gritty, rootsy music with spicy elements that earmark the unmistakable Crescent City sound. Brent penned eight of the album's twelve tracks, exhibiting a keen sense of clever wordplay - the juke joint jumper "In Love With Your Wallet" is filled with wry observation, while the vaudeville throwback "My Man" is peppered with double entendre. But there's also considerable nuance: the intimacy of "If I Can't", the after-hours anguish of "Blues All Over," and the soulful, heartbreaking ballad "Leave Me Alone."

Mass Effect 2 Review

Mass Effect 2 makes its predecessor look really simple. Whether you're eavesdropping on a pair of Krogans in the citadel, mining planets for resources from space, or outfitting your private deck with a fish tank and space hamster, almost every area in the game is improved upon and impressively presented.

It's as if BioWare compiled a big checklist of the first game's bad points, and scratched them off one by one. Rubbish vehicle sections, overwhelming inventory management and, yes, elevator load times have all been thrown in the bin. The result is a more refined, balanced and approachable game - arguably BioWare's best to date.

The sequel's events kick off a few years after the original title's conclusion, taking into account all the choices you made and people you killed/spared in the original game (if you've kept hold of your Mass Effect 1 save at least).

The spoiler-free version of the plot is that human colonies have started disappearing around the edges of space. Suspicious that the Reapers - the ancient, galaxy-culling machines - are behind the attacks, our man Sheppard joins up with the Cerberus organisation and its mysterious leader, 'The Illusive Man' (voiced by Martin Sheen), to investigate.
