Ab Ripper X Review

Ab Ripper X…I hate it, but I love it! That’s a Tony Hortonism, that I agree with 100%! Ab Ripper X is really hard, but you will love the results you will see if you stick with it. You do Ab Ripper X three times a week immediately after all the resistance workouts.

While only 16 minutes in length, many find this the most difficult workout in all of P90X. you are doing 11 moves, 25 reps each. However, most of you will not be able to get to 25 reps on all moves for quite sometime…so take breaks! There are no formal breaks in this routine, so do as many reps as you can for each move, and don’t feel you need to keep up with Tony and his crew. It’s impossible not to feel the burn in your core, hip flexors, and abs.

Better Work Out For Love Handles


Love Handle Workouts


1.Stop and Go


If you play a sport that requires a full sprint, remember that a full sprint strains the muscles of the lower body. To combat this, do stop-and-go exercises. For example, run 30 meters at about 80 percent of your effort, slow to a jog for five to 10 meters, then run again for another 30 meters. Repeat this process five times.


2.On bended knees


Almost 3 out of four ACL injury occurs when players are landing or turning. If your knees are bent instead of straight, the risk of injury is greatly reduced according to a report in the JAAOS (Journal of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons).


3.Cool down


Heatstroke is not something that can be easily cured like headache. To avoid it, stay cool and hydrated. Be sure the combined temp an humidity is less than 160. This is according to Dr. Dave Janda of the IPSM.


4.Get the proper equipment


Badly fitting gears or ill sized equipment can be a cause of  training injuries. The extra money spent on proper equipment goes a long way. 


5.Do it the right way


Bad technique is just as bad as, well, bad equipment. Seek advice from pros and trainer, this advice are invaluable to your exercises or training.


6.Go West (or whichever direction)


If you're playing or training in multiple directions, your warm up should also. Move sideways, backward, forward and all the motions you might be doing. This allows your body to be prepared.


7.Have yourself filmed


The camera doesn't lie. Show your video to a person well verse in your training, so he can give a critic of your fitness regimen.


8.Loosen the shoulders.


Even a slightly injured rotator cuff can shut down the function of a shoulder. You might want to include stretching to protect your rotator cuffs.


9.take An early dip


Schedule your swimming sessions early. The less people in the pool means less of everything in the pool.


10. Protect yourself


Wearing custom-fitted mouth guards reduces the risk of  injuries by as much as 82 percent, according to a study at UNC at Chapel Hill. Plunk out the cash for a custom-fitted mouth guard and it'll last for years including your smile and teeth.


11. Smooth out your tendon

When the going gets difficult, the veteran athlete rely on skills they've trained for and practiced. It keeps them cooler under pressure, widening their vision so they can see react much faster.

5. Perform a set of exercises in 10 repetitions. Every number that was accomplished is called a repetition. Try to make every repetition with less momentum as much as possible. The lesser the momentum, the harder your muscles work. And the harder they work, the bigger they become. To check if there is much momentum when lifting, see if the arm is floating. If the arm does float, then there is much momentum.


6. Be flexible and perform a variety of exercises.  Every exercise program should have a variety. You can change your exercises, goals and sets every month to keep you motivated and on the go.Doing love handle workouts every week can help. Doing this will help you prevent being bored and losing energy physically and mentally.


7. Be Motivated! The best way to keep the energy levels of trainees is to allow a healthy competition and allow them to have a sense of control. Not all programs work for all types of people. There is no workout that is best for everyone. But you learn from experienced people. Learn to acknowledge blocks and demonstrate self-discipline, keep yourself motivated and work harder everyday and add variety. Differences Between CD DVD Media

Even though both CD and DVD disks have the same
media size and shape, the things they have in
common ends there.  There are many different
things between the two, such as what they hold
and how much they hold.

Data pits and lasers
A disc has microscopic grooves that will move
along in a spiral around the disc.  CDs and
DVDs both have these grooves, with laser breams
applied to scan these very grooves.

As you may know, digital information is represented
in ones and zeroes.  Inside of these discs, very
tiny reflective bumps known as lands and non
reflective holes known as pits, which can be
found beside the grooves, reflect both the ones
and the zeroes of digital information.

By reducing the wave length of the laser to 625mm
or more infrared light, DVD technology has
managed to write in smaller pits when compared
to the standard technology of CD.  This will
allow for a greater amount of data per track
on the DVD.  The minimum length allowed for a
pit in a single layer DVD-R is .4 micron, which
is obviously more than the .0834 micron that a
CD offers.

The tracks of a DVD are narrower as well, which
allows for more tracks per disc, which also
translates into more capacity than a CD.  The
avaerage single layer DVD holds 4.5 GB of data,
while a CD holds a mere 700 MB.

As stated above, a DVD has smaller pits and the
lasers need to focus on them.  This is actually
achieved by using a thinner plastic substrate
than in a CD, which means that the laser needs
to pass through a thinner layer, with less
depth to reach the pits.  It's this reduction in
thickness that's responsible for the discs
that were only 0.6mm thickness - which is half
that of a CD.

Data access speed
DVDs will access data at a much faster rate than
a CD can.  The average 32X CD-ROM drive reads
data at 4MB a second, while a 1X DVD drive reads
at 1.38MB a second.  This is even faster than
an 8X CD drive.

Universal data format
The recording formats of CDs and DVDs are quite
different, as DVDs use UDF, or the Universal
Data Format.  This format allows data, video,
audio, or even a combination of all three to
be stored in a single file structure.  The
advantage to this is any file can be accessed
by any drive, computer, or even consumer video.
CDs on the other hand aren't compatible with
this format.

Will Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton be the No. 1 overall pick of the 2011 draft? He could help secure the selection with a glowing performance Tuesday at Auburn's pro day.

The Carolina Panthers own that top pick, and their new coach, Ron Rivera, is expected to be on hand to watch Newton's workout.

Carolina's battered offense was awful last year, and QBs Matt Moore and rookie Jimmy Clausen gave little indication they were long-term answers under center. The Panthers also have a little extra riding on their first-round pick this year because they dealt their second-rounder to the Patriots at last year's draft (to move up forArmanti Edwards).

Despite the team's numerous needs, Rivera admitted at the scouting combine that quarterback was definitely under consideration at the top spot.

"We do believe we have to have a franchise quarterback to lead your team for the next six, seven, eight years. We certainly believe that," he said. "Do you have to take that guy or is he on our roster right now? That's all part of our evaluation process."

The coach also praised Newton, comparing him to some well-established names.

"The young man has a tremendous talent," said Rivera. "He has natural size and can run and has a tremendous arm. He's got a good pocket presence already. I think he's well on his way.

"Look at Ben RoethlisbergerMatt RyanJoe Flacco -- Cam has got those types of physical attributes. He's a tall, powerful young man. He's got great athletic ability. He might be the best athlete of all of them. Again, the one thing he does have is a great arm and he's a winner. Go back to junior college and his college days and you can't pass that up, either. Again, we've got to explore."

However the Panthers also have to explore how NFL-ready Newton is while assessing others, such as Missouri QB Blaine Gabbert. Newton struggled -- albeit while throwing to unfamiliar receivers -- at the combine, completing 11-of-21 passes and was particularly ineffective on out patterns. He's not accustomed to taking direct snaps from center, nor does he have refined footwork required for the subsequent dropback.

Still, Newton possesses a huge frame (6-5, 248), outstanding arm and legs (30 TD passes, 20 TD runs in 2010) and obvious charisma. He led his junior college team to a championship one season before replicating the feat at Auburn.

What Causes Hemorrhoids

Signs and Symptoms

Mainly by observing the presence of blood after passing motion - like blood in the bowl water or toilet tissue paper. However, do note that cancer may also result in similar symptoms, so, when in doubt, do consult your doctor.

External hemorrhoids are more noticeable since there will be some pain, itchiness, burning and even bleeding. There may also be a lump somewhere in the anus caused by a blood clot that is in turn the result of a lack of blood supply. This is a thrombosed hemorrhoid and will be quite painful.

Surgical Solutions

If you are unfortunate enough to have the real severe bout of hemorrhoids, then surgery may be the only way out. Simple surgery will involve the removal of the affected tissue or the opening of a blood clot to give some relief from pain. Sometimes, surgeons may staple the affected area so that blood flow is restricted from or even sclerotherapy where chemicals are used to shrink blood vessels are used. For internal hemorrhoids, patients can opt to use infrared light to cut off blood circulation. Another way is rubber band ligation.

For some individuals, surgery is a necessary procedure. Most surgical procedures however are expensive, painful and open an individual up to a lot of possible risks and complications. There is also no guarantee that all surgical procedures for hemorrhoids guarantee against the recurrence of symptoms. Surgery should therefore be reserved for very critical conditions.

Non-Surgical Solutions

Less severe cases of hemorrhoids may be treated with prescription or over the counter medication. Patients may be advised to take oral or topical solutions with anti inflammatory components. These conventional medications may be paired with warm baths and a doctor’s advice not to engage in strenuous activities. Most hemorrhoid sufferers know however that medications do not have enduring effects and may even worsen hemorrhoids.

Expensive Gym Memberships

Of course I fist mentioned my expensive gym membership which did not work out for me. I am sure it could have been successful if I could have fit into my schedule. It just seemed any time I had an opportunity to think about going, it was either too crowded to get to any machines or they were not open.

Finding a way to workout at home seemed like the best option. I started out with sit ups and crunches and using an elliptical. Although the elliptical is great, I was not seeing the results on getting rid of my love handles.

Even though it was slow I thought if I did enough sit ups and crunches, eventually I could melt away those extra inches and start to work on lower ab workouts for more definition.

Weight Loss Came to a Screeching Halt

Although I did lose a little, it seemed I hit a plateau fairly quickly and the weight loss came to a screeching halt. This can be very disheartening and really make you want to throw in the towel. But somehow I found the motivation to continue on my quest.
