Buying and Collecting Vintage Antique Cameras

Buying and Collecting Vintage Antique Cameras

Having a hobby does not have to cost you money, you can learn how to buy, collect and sell Vintage Antique Cameras. That is, if you know where to find the best deals and then which ones will sell the best.

Digital photography, Photoshop, webcams, JPEG files, etc... are all words that have become part of everyday conversation around the world. But looking back at some of the photos my Mother took with her good old "Brownie" camera, I realize there is just something about those pictures you don't really capture with some of the high tech cameras today. Maybe it's not the quality of the pictures but more the nostalgia associated with film photography, maybe even a little romance if you will. I never thought her camera would someday be considered a Vintage Antique Camera that could sell for so much more than it ever cost.

As a child I also never realized the wonder of this "Brownie" cameramy Mother always seemed to have around.

But as I have gotten older, I realize what a wonderful thing Mr George Eastman had developed.

The Brownie was quite the brink of technology in its day, this simple box with its arm that cranked, a lever, a lens and that little window.

This "little box" changed the landscape of photography forever. The Brownie is probably one of my favorite Vintage Antique Cameras.
